State Athletics Success

What a phenomenal day at the State Athletics Championship last week! A massive shoutout to our incredible athletes:

Isabella W - 2nd place in 17 girls Triple Jump (10.60m!)
Miette L - 3rd place in High Jump
Kira M - 4th place in the 1500m (with a PB of 4:53!)
James S, Toby G, Oli H & Arley H – 3rd place in the 14 Boys Relay
Ava B, Macey B, Elizabeth G & Evahnie C – 7th place in the 12-13 Girls Relay.

Inter Girls Hockey

On Friday 20 October, our Intermediate girls Hockey team headed out to Hawthorn-Malvern Hockey Centre to represent Beaumaris in the SMR competition. The girls tried hard all day, being recognised by all for their massive improvement as the day went on and their team morale. Although not the result we wanted, the girls should all be very proud of their efforts.

Inter Girls Cricket

Our intermediate Girls Cricket team played valiantly and with the joy and energy this team has become renowned for against Cheltenham in their regional final on Wed 25 October. Unfortunately, they didn’t bring home the chocolates however Indi K starred with a classy 25 run batting performance batting out almost the entire innings. Well done girls! Fun is the name of the game as you all showed today.

Inter Boys Basketball

Our Inter Boys Basketball team gave it their all today. They won the first three games, showcasing incredible teamwork and skill. Although the final didn't go our way against Berwick, we're incredibly proud of them all. Congratulations on being runners-up!
