414 Squadron Ball

On Saturday 22nd of July, 414 hosted its first ball in 27 years! We spent the night celebrating the squadron’s achievements, dancing, eating, meeting other cadets from around Victoria, and making lots of new memories. We were joined by many staff such as the head of the AAFC in Victoria, Kylie Walker. We ended with awards for best dressed, best dancer and best suit. The night was a great success due to the efforts for CUO Tyra Ly. We thank her for all the time she spent organising this memorable event!

Winter Bivouac

Our annual Winter Bivouac was held on Thursday the 14th of July. 414 Squadron went to Dallas Brooks Park on a 3 days, 2 nights camp. First year cadets had their initial experience sleeping in 11x11 tents while second and third yeas cadets slept in self-made shelters on their first survival bivouac. Cadets also were able to experience a mini-Rogaine where they put their navigational skills to use. Both groups had lots of fun participating in exciting day and night activities. A big shout out to all the staff and NCOs who made sure this Bivouac ran smoothly!
