French Language

On Friday the 11th of August, all Year 10 French students were lucky enough to go to Noir, a local French bistro to try some authentic French cuisine and practise our French speaking skills. There were three main dishes to choose from, beef bourguignon, a Jérusalem artichoke risotto, and a prawn gnocchi in a seafood bisque. Everything was excellent, and it was followed by a dessert platter with macarons, profiteroles, and Turkish delights. The staff at Noir were incredibly accommodating and we were especially lucky to have some speaking practise with the waitress Elise, who is from the South of France. It was a great opportunity for the Year 10 students to experience from French culture and tasting some delicious French food. Thank you to the French teachers for organising the excursion and Noir restaurant on Swan St for having us!
