Melbourne Zoo Excursion

Last Friday, Year 1 took a trip to the zoo!  Below are some student recounts of the amazing day.  We would like to thank all our parent helpers that assisted on the day.  We couldn’t have done it without you!

Melbourne Zoo.

First we got to the zoo. Next, we went to see the butterflies in the Butterfly House. Then we ate our lunch. Finally, we went on the bus and drove back to school. I was so tired. I had a NAP!  We actually saw more animals there.  We saw giraffes, penguins, lions, elephants, tigers. Snow leopards, snakes, crocodiles, frogs, fish and turtles. I had a checklist of some animals.

Zoo.

On Friday all the grade one’s went to the zoo to do an information report. We saw a crocodile. Then we saw a penguin. It was so cute!  After that we had a super snack. Then we saw a giraffe and an elephant. Finally we drove home.

The Amazing Zoo.

On Friday at 9:30 all the year 1’s went to the zoo. First we had fruit and sorted our groups. Then we walked to see what animals we wanted to write about. Next we wrote about the animal we wanted. Finally we ate lunch. I was so tired. On the way back to school I sat next to Iylah and when we got back we played on the Jungle playground. I was sooo happy! Written by Ryan.
