Year 5&6

We looked at Hayao Miyazaki's work in the movie Ponyo as a seed for chalk pastel drawings. Students used their imagination to create an underwater scene. 

Year 3&4

We read Sea Country by Aunty Patsy Cameron and Lisa Kennedy and used the illustrations to inspire our crayon and water colour resist paintings of realistic fish. 

Year 2 

Used air drying clay students made cups and saucers coloured with crayon and watercolour.

Crafty, mixed media Rainbow Fish are inspired by Marcus Pfister’s The Rainbow Fish.
