The Year 4’s Eucharist - Newsletter

On October 7th-8th most of the Year 4 students plus Matthew from Year 5/6 completed their first Eucharist. Eucharist is all about receiving the bread and wine, which is Jesus’s Body and his Blood. At the church, all students either wore navy blue, white and black. When at church you dress up fancy because you receive the bread and wine, which is one of the Sacraments in our religion. 

On Sunday morning most of the children in Year 4 made their first Eucharist. Father Charles led the mass and it was very lovely. All of the children's faces were lit up with joy. Our students in Year 4 no longer have to cross the arms across their chests to receive a blessing as they have made their first Eucharist. Mrs Leone, Miss Costa and Mrs Gerosolimo all attended both masses and were very pleased with how the masses went.
