Farewell Class of 2023
A wrap-up of Year 12's Last Week
The last week of Term was Year 12's last week of their official schooling. We had a great week celebrating them with a variety of events and activities. Congratulations Year 12! We will be praying for you as you complete your HSC and enter the next phase of your life. We can't wait to see where the road takes you. God bless you all!
Staff and Year 12 students braved the epic heat to face each other in a 'friendly' game of Basketball! Staff brought their A-game, showing off some serious basketball skills that left the Year 12 students playing catch-up for most of the game. The Year 12s gave it their all and put up an awesome effort, making some impressive shots and playing with fantastic teamwork. In the end, the staff were just too good! Winning with a convincing 37-17 victory.
Year 12 prepared and hosted a delicious morning tea to thank staff for all they have done for them throughout the years. Many Primary and Secondary staff attended and it was a very special time for both the staff and students.
Year 12 students celebrated the end of 13 years of schooling at their Graduation Dinner held at the Stableford Function Centre, Worrigee Sports on Wednesday 20 September. It was a wonderful night attended by parents/carers, Board Members and staff. Mr West's farewell song for Year 12 was a definite highlight as was the beautiful speeches given by Mr & Mrs Reid on behalf of all the parents and School Captain, Jenna G on behalf of Year 12.
Stage 6 had a terrific day out on the water! Praise God we had the best of the weather and the rain didn't start until we were settled in on the bus on the way home!
On the last day of Term our whole school, along with over 100 family members gathered in the MPC for one final farewell at a very special Graduation Assembly. It was a very fitting end to an awesome week and an amazing 13 years of schooling. Well done Year 12!
