Welcome to Term Four

Welcome to our final term in Prep. We hope you have had a lovely break and enjoyed the beautiful weather over the holidays. Firstly, we would like to welcome all the new families who have joined our school community and hope that you build some wonderful connections with other families in our community.

Please be reminded that in Term Four, all children are required to wear a sunhat for play (please write your child’s name inside). It is also encouraged that your child apply sunscreen before coming to school and bring a full drink bottle with water.

This term we are excited to continue our learning in each of the subject areas as outlined below as well as reflecting on our tremendous growth as Prep learners which will be celebrated through the Prep Prom performance towards the end of the year.

Important dates to note for Prep families

Tuesday 7th November: Melbourne Cup (public holiday)
Wednesday 8th November: Student Free Day for Assessment and Reporting
Tuesday 12th December: 2024 Day (Meet your new teacher and classmates)
Thursday 14th December: Prep Prom (A celebration performance by Preps in completing their first year of school at GWPS).
Monday 18th December: Reports live on Compass from 5pm
Wednesday 20th December: Last Day School will finish at 1:30pm
