Leadership Centre

Highlight

Selamat siang,

Wow, another action-packed week has flown by in the Leadership Centre!

Early in the week, we began with a fun challenge to work-out what the teachers’ mystery spinner could look like. Throughout the week we explored data from this spinner by conducting numerous trials and exploring what the spinner could look like. With the data from these trials, we explored probability as fractions, decimals, and percentages. In English, we spent some time unpacking song lyrics from the song Caught in the Crowd by Kate Miller-Heidke and looked at the visual aspects of the music video.

A highlight last week was seeing all of the students covered in colour and slime for the fun run! It was amazing to see so many of our leaders assisting in the running of the event and supporting the younger years. In addition, this week we had the ANZAC day ceremony, and it was pleasing to see the students paying their respects, lest we forget.

Have a restful weekend,

The Leadership Centre Teachers
