Melbourne Victory

This term in the Melbourne Victory program, we have been doing many different things. During the term, we have had practical sessions and theory lessons. During practical lessons, we have had chances to make our own warm-ups such as running, dribbling, keep ups, etc. Also, we have been playing games to see how we can use all the skills in the game for Mrs Hayes and Mr Justin (our coach). These two have helped us get better with our dribbling and also those skills in soccer which you need, and also with listening to our peers to make us better students in the program and also in class. In theory lessons, we have been talking to the class about formations you could use in soccer, which is a great way to understand the concept of the game. And we have also done a get-to-know-each-other activity about everyone in the class. Everyone had a chance to say a few things about themselves that are either interesting or about their family or even their hobbies inside or outside of school, which was a great opportunity to get to understand a bit about our teammates and peers. Lastly, in the last week of this term, we had a chance to play bubble soccer, which was fun for me and my teammates, which we all enjoyed and had a lot of fun. The way to play bubble soccer is you get into these inflated bubbles which are either colored blue or red, and there are 5 people on a team which makes it a 5v5 on the pitch, and we had some laughs and giggles since we mostly fell half of the time, which we thank Melbourne Victory for the opportunity. Thank you for listening. This term has been great, and thank you to both Mrs Hayes and also Mr Justin for coaching us through this. Hope to have some more fun this term.

In this term in Melbourne Victory, we have been doing a lot of different things. We have practical sessions and theory sessions. In practical sessions, we have a chance to do our own warmups and other people would follow doing the warmups. We also have been playing games to see how we can use all the skills in a game. On the last day of the week, we had bubble soccer where you can get into the bubble and play soccer with your teammates. It was fun because you got to bump into each other and enjoy playing soccer. Our coaches Ms Hayes and Mr Justin have helped us to get better at our soccer skills. In theory classes, we have been talking about soccer formations which helps us have a better understanding about positions. We have also done a get-to-know-each-other session in class which helps us to get used to each other and become friends. We thank Melbourne Victory for this opportunity. Thank you very much for listening to this. We thank Ms Hayes and Mr Justin for coaching us.
