Hey there, everyone! My name is Emra, and I'm thrilled to be your Year 12 SRC. It's a pleasure to meet each and every one of you!

As we kick off Term 2, I'm excited to dive into all the fantastic opportunities and events that lie ahead. One of the things I look forward to the most about being part of the SRC is the chance to make a real difference in our school community. Whether it's organising fun activities or charity events, I'm eager to work together with all of you to create positive change.

Now, let me give you a quick update on what's been happening so far this term. We've been busy organising a range of exciting activities.

Throughout the term, we'll be hosting various lunchtime fundraisers to support the House charity as well as a number of staff vs. student events and competitions, so keep an eye out for those! Speaking of events, I want to encourage everyone to get involved in our upcoming Athletics Day. It's going to be a blast, with tons of fun activities and competitions lined up. Don't forget to sign up and show your House pride by dressing in your House colours on the day! And that's not all—we've got plenty of other exciting things planned too. Today, for instance, we're hosting a lunchtime indoor games challenge, open to students and staff from all year levels. It's a great opportunity to unwind and have some fun.

Additionally, I want to remind everyone about our upcoming art competition, scheduled to be judged in Week 8. This is your chance to showcase your creativity and talent, so let's make sure to see as many submissions as possible!

Finally, I want to give a special shoutout to Connie P as she pursues her dreams in the Olympic tryouts. We're all rooting for you, Connie, and we'll be cheering you on every step of the way!
