Eucalyptus House

Hi Everyone! I’m Fajer, the Eucalyptus Year 12 SRC for 2024. Throughout this year I plan to actively contribute to our community, by building Student Voice and Agency within Eucalyptus House.

As we kick off Term 2, staff across the school have been heavily focusing on learning routines and implementing them across the school to enhance the learning done within the classroom. Also in the following weeks, the SRC will be holding lunchtime activities, such as Kahoots, Trivia and Jeopardy within Eucalyptus House, which include great prizes to be won.

I’m excited to announce the Eucalyptus House Charity for this year: Backpacks 4 VIC Kids. Backpacks 4 VIC Kids’ aim is to provide crisis packs and gift packs to vulnerable children, aged from birth to seventeen years. So stay tuned for upcoming lunchtime fundraisers, such as activities and stalls.

Additionally, the highly awaited Athletics Day will be held later on this month. I encourage each and every one of you to sign up for as many sporting events you’re passionate about, whether it’s the 100m sprint or the long jump, and represent the House. Also let’s not forget to dress up in House colours on the day, to show support for Eucalyptus House.

Lastly the Eucalyptus House Leadership Team would like to remind everyone, students in particular, of the Community Commitment. Which includes students arriving at school with readiness to learn, students feeling connected in the school community and making sure students feel safe at school.

It’s been a great start to Term 2, I look forward to what we can accomplish as Eucalyptus House in the remainder of the year!
