In Mathematics, learning will include:

  • Place value-extending knowledge, including decimals

ALLAMBEE CAMP 2026

Level 3/4 had an exceptional experience at Allambee Camp. Throughout the camp, students were kept actively engaged in a wide range of challenging activities designed to build confidence and strengthen teamwork skills.

They took part in exciting experiences such as the giant swing, flying fox, billy carts, vertical challenge, hut building, and campfire cooking, where they made damper. It was wonderful to see every student enthusiastically participating and embracing each activity with energy and positivity.

We are incredibly proud of our Level 3/4 students for the way they represented Whitehorse Primary School. They demonstrated outstanding behaviour, teamwork, and resilience, and truly did us proud.

A huge thank you to all staff and volunteers who came to support the students and made it a very successful time at camp!

Here is a poem that perfectly depicts our time at camp and all the emotions felt:

Edward’s poem-Allambee Camp

All campers pumped for the journey ahead.

Little mosquitos sucking up people’s blood.

Lovely green hills and mountains at every turn.

Amazing archery arrows flying everywhere except the target!

Massive giant swing, swinging from side to side.

Bumpy billy carts racing down the steep hill.

Exciting activities all day long - it seemed to go on forever.

Endless delicious food – no need to be hungry!

Crazy flying fox, gliding from point A to point B.

Action packed bus ride with ‘unseeable’ sites.

Moving step by step from activity to activity full of excitement.

Panting after every activity from hard work.
