Mother's Day Breakfast
It was a lovely way to start the morning, with our P&C hosting a Mother's Day breakfast for our school community. The turnout was great and it was a nice opportunity for families to come together before the school day began. A big thank you to the P&C for putting it all together.
To all the mothers, grandmothers and mother figures who support our students each and every day, we hope Sunday is a chance to feel appreciated and to enjoy some time with the people who matter most. The role you play in your children's lives does not go unnoticed, and we are grateful for the care and support you bring to our school community as well. We hope you have a wonderful day.
Arriving at school ready to learn
I stand at the gate each morning and it is one of the parts of my day I really value, but I do notice that students who arrive rushed and at the last minute often find it harder to settle into the start of their day. A calm entry to school makes a real difference to how a child approaches their learning in that first part of the morning. If mornings at home feel a little rushed, it may be worth experimenting with shifting the routine back by ten or fifteen minutes. It is a small change that can have a noticeable impact for the learning of your child.
Assets update
I am pleased to share that the painting works to A Block have been completed and the remediation work to the OOSH room has also wrapped up. Thank you for your patience throughout what has been a period of some disruption. From Monday, all areas will be back to normal with no further impact to classrooms or the playground.
