Dear Parents and Carers,

A big thank you to all the CPS mums and families who joined us for this morning’s Mother’s Day Celebration BBQ at school. We are delighted to say that this was the biggest Mother’s Day P&C event we have held so far!

It was wonderful to see such a large turnout from our school community, with so many families coming together not only to celebrate Mother’s Day, but also to socialise and connect with one another. Seeing so many happy faces across the morning truly reflected the strong and supportive community spirit we have at CPS.

This event would not have been possible without the incredible efforts of many people. A heartfelt thank you goes to our Events Coordinator, Ashley, our BBQ and cake stall helpers, our supportive school staff, the families who generously contributed sweet treats, and of course everyone who attended and participated this morning. Together, you made the event a tremendous success.

I would also like to wish all CPS families a wonderful Mother’s Day this Sunday and hope you enjoy a special time with your loved ones.

As always, the P&C warmly welcomes more parent volunteers to join us, whether as part of the Events team or as one-off volunteers for specific activities and events, or other P&C operations like canteen throughout the year.

I look forward to seeing many more members of our community at our future P&C events.
