Great Southern Griffins Basketball News – Round Six Update

We are now into Round Six of the season and our Griffins teams continue to show fantastic progress, great teamwork, and plenty of fun both on and off the court.

Team Highlights

Under Ten Boys - Hawks

A few gorgeous shots of some of our youngest Griffins players loving their time on the court!

Under 12 Boys - Celtics

It was definitely a nail-biter for the Celtics the other week! They edged out Royals and clinched the win in the final minute of play, 31–29. Brad and the boys played their hearts out in a neck-and-neck game — with no subs! A great result for the team!

Under 14 Girls - Fire

The Griffins Fire U14 girls have been developing their skills and giving it their all. Last Monday, they celebrated their first win! The team has improved so much, and the girls played their hearts out from start to finish. It was wonderful to see them come together and enjoy their well-earned victory.

Raiders News 

The Raiders State Championships 2025 are underway and this weekend, two U15 Boys teams proudly represented the Albany Raiders. We had three of our Griffins Basketball players from the Under 16 Lightning team represented in the travelling squads. Jenson, Finn and Braeden — you should be incredibly proud of your performance on the court and the way you represented both the Raiders and the Griffins.

Griffins Merchandise and Uniforms

Players can order the Griffins training gear and supporter merchandise from the Griffins site Shop - Great Southern Griffins. A range of hoodies, tops, pants and accessories are available to buy. There are limited stocks of hoodies, but more will be added at the end of the month.
