Mental Health and Wellbeing:

Supporting Inclusion and Respectful Curiosity at School

Dear Families

I am excited to introduce myself as the Mental Health in Primary Schools (MHiPS) Leader, taking over from Miss Ally, who retired at the end of 2025.

Supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our students is essential to their growth, learning and overall development. In this role, I will work across the school to lead a whole‑school approach to wellbeing—supporting students, staff and families in ways that reflect the needs of our community.

If you have any questions, concerns, or would like support accessing mental health resources, please feel welcome to reach out. Together, we can continue to build a school environment where every child feels safe, supported and ready to learn.

LONGWOOD FIRE

Over the school holidays, our community experienced challenges connected to the Longwood fire. As we begin the 2026 school year, our focus is on helping students and families settle back into familiar routines. The Mental Health and Wellbeing door is always open if you or your children need someone to talk to. We are here to listen and to offer support as our community moves forward together.

Kind regards,

Fiona Robinson
