The sun came out just in time for our Christmas Carols festivities. We began with the band and then enjoyed each class taking to the stage with their own Christmas carol and dance routine.

From a lively, 'Up on the Housetop' to a very cute, 'Here comes Santa Claus'  and even a few confident moves during, 'Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree', the students brought Christmas spirit, sparkle and enough tinsel to decorate half of Ringwood.

Our teachers put in a great deal of time and effort to prepare the concert, and we thank Mrs Murray and Dr Nisbett for bringing it all together so smoothly and cheerfully.

Our Concert Band had their first big gig and did a wonderful job, and the choir filled the yard with beautiful Christmas favourites A big thank you to the team of Miss Roberts, Craig Hill, Alisha Clark and all the parent volunteers for organising the BBQ, drinks and icy poles.

There was also an interesting gingerbread lady wandering around and bobbing along to the music, who may have startled a few toddlers until they realised it was me. All part of the fun.

Our students were fantastic. Thank you to Mums, Dads and parents  for coming along to share the evening. And thank you Mr Silverwood for your Christmas message.

Classes  for 2026

Students will be meeting their new teachers on Tuesday morning, which is always an exciting time. I would like to reassure families that considerable thought and professional discussion goes into the placement process. It is a complex task with many factors taken into account, including academic levels, learning styles, student abilities, friendships and the way students interact with others. Our teachers know your children in the school context and work collaboratively to determine the best fit for each class. Many hours are dedicated to ensuring balanced, well-considered class groups that support a positive start to the new school year.

Enjoy the weekend with your family and friends

Only 4 more school days to go !
