Congratulations to our most recent Award winners!

Families and friends are invited and welcome to attend.

Foundation

  • Toby H (FSC) – ‘Be Responsible’ for working really hard on listening carefully during InitiaLit and for writing down the sentences on your board quickly.  You are reading and writing your tricky words really well now!  Keep up the great work!

  • Charles H (FSC) – ‘Be Your Best’ for remembering to start your sentences with a capital letter and adding full stops to your writing – Keep up the great writing Charles! 

  • Theo H (FSC) – ‘Be Your Best’ for working hard on learning to read the ‘tricky’ words taught this year Theo.  You are becoming such a good reader - Keep up the great work! 

  • Sully H (FBW) – ‘Be Your Best’ for your enthusiasm to complete your one-on-one end of year assessments to see how clever you are.  Sully, you are very clever!  Well done on working hard this year.

  • Eva K (FBW) – ‘Be Your Best’ for becoming an independent writer.  It is wonderful to see you creating your own sentences about your own ideas, and then confidently rereading your work.  Great work Eva!

  • Charlotte H (FBW) – ‘Be Your Best’ for working hard on your counting skills and number writing.  Charlotte, your improvements in these areas have been wonderful this term.  Great job!

 

Year 1 & 2

  • Boston M (12GM) - ‘Be Responsible’ for making strong choices in class to benefit your own learning such as sitting near the front and raising your hand to speak.  Great work Boston!

  • Ella H (12GM) - ‘Be Your Best’ for your creation of an effective column graph.  You were able to display the data clearly and it was wonderful to see how you included all of the elements, title, legend, scale and graph.  Great job Ella. 

  • Aubree M (12CL) – ‘Be Your Best’ for trying her best with all learning tasks.  It is fantastic to see you putting so much effort into all your work Aubree.  Well done!

  • Clancy M (12CL) – ‘Be Responsible’ for consistently demonstrating excellent behaviour and being a respectful and responsible student.  You are a fantastic role model for all of your peers.  What a superstar Clancy!

  • Riley M (12ZH) - ‘Be Your Best’ for always trying your best to listen during discussion times.  You have improved so much on focusing on your listening skills and choices rather than listening to those around you!  Great work Riley!

  • Poppy M (12ZH) - ‘Be Responsible’ for being a great leader, participant and learner during our excursion to the Discovery Centre!  You were a great example of how to behave and engage in all of the activities.  Well done Pop!

     

Year 3 & 4

  • Asha D (34JM) – ‘Be Your Best’ for always giving 100% in everything she does.  Asha, I am so impressed with the quiet and respectful way you go about your work.  Congratulations!

  • Nash G (34JM) – ‘Help Others succeed’ for always putting your hand up to help out during sport lessons.  Nash, you are always willing to collect and return equipment and you constantly show good sportsmanship.  Well done!

  • Brooklyn O (34JM) – ‘Be Responsible’ for the impressive way you have been working in class recently.  Brooklyn, you have been focused, shown excellent manners and are always such a big help.  Keep it up!

  • Rupert M (34JM) – ‘Be Your Best’ for the impressive way you go about your learning.  Rupert, you always present your work beautifully and you are consistently focused on all learning tasks!  Well done! 

  • Parker W (34LB) – ‘Be Responsible’ for listening attentively in the classroom and showing empathy towards others.  Well done, Parker!

  • Grace B (34LB) – ‘Be Your Best’ for always looking to improve her learning in the classroom.  Grace, you’re a great role model.  Well done!

  • Arianna A (34MH) – ‘Be Your Best’ for using beautiful manners and always treating classmates with kindness and respect.  You are a wonderful role model to others.

  • Marcus M (34MH) – ‘Be Your Best’ for outstanding presentation of all your work.  You take great pride in the neatness and accuracy of your work.  Wonderful effort Marcus.

 

Year 5 & 6

  • Indi C (56TD) – ‘Be Your Best’ for her consistent effort with her maths.  Indi you continue to challenge yourself and ask questions to improve your learning.  Your maths has come so far due to your positive approach.  Well done, Indi. 

  • Kayden B (56TD) – ‘Be Your Best’ for his improved effort with his writing.  Kayden, you have done a great job with your writing this year and have continued to develop your writing and editing skills.  Well done, Kayden.

  • Lucas C (56EN) - ‘Be Your Best’ for the way your share your strategies and methods in maths and provide such a clear explanation into your though processes.  Some valuable input Lucas. Thank you!

  • Amelie H (56EN)- ‘Be Responsible’ for being such an active contributor and involving yourself more in whole class reading.  Amelie, you have certainly stepped up in the way you focus on tasks and show dedication towards your learning.  Well Done!

  • Murphy W (56NW)- ‘Be Your Best’ for making strong choices during class time. Murphy your contribution towards class discussions and your bravery to read aloud during class is excellent. Well done. 

  • Mollie T (56NW)- ‘Be Responsible’ for being organised and ready for every learning task. Mollie, you follow instructions promptly and are a wonderful role model for others. 

 

Specialist  

THE ARTS (Foundation – Yr 2)

  • Boston M (12GM) – ‘Help Others Succeed’ for working hard during art classes to complete his own work to a fabulous standard, your migrating duck picture was amazing.  Thank you for supporting others to complete their artwork by guiding them through the steps on how to draw a flying duck.

  • George W (12ZH) – ‘Be Your Best’ for working wonderfully on his migrating duck picture and for following teacher’s instructions carefully on this task.  Well done, George!

  • Layla G (FSC) – ‘Be Your Best’ for displaying creative flair on all set art tasks.  Layla you always add something extra to enhance your work and ensure that it is super colourful. 

     

    STEAM (Yr 3 - 6)

  • Chloe L (56NW) - ‘Be Your Best’ for her impressive and well-constructed electrical circuit card.  Well done, Chloe, on planning thoughtfully and creating a beautiful piece of work that functions perfectly.

  • Grace H (34JM) – ‘Be Your Best’ for demonstrating creativity and strong problem-solving skills while learning about forces and simple machines, and for independently creating a unique Rube Goldberg chain reaction that showed a clear and clever sequence of cause and effect.

 

P.E. (Yr 3 – 6)

  • Marlie W (56EN) - ‘Be your Best’ for always wanting to achieve better results and improve your skills.  You have had a fantastic year in PE.  Well done. 

  • Harlan C (34JM) - ‘Be your Best’ for demonstrating great endurance in running.  You are always keen to do more laps and run with strength and pace.  Great work Harlan.

 

INDONESIAN (Yr3 - 6)

  • Annabelle M (56TD) - ‘Be Your Best’ for excellent skills in speaking, writing and listening in Indonesian.  Ability to pronounce all words accurately, responding to questions correctly, and always completing all tasks on time.  Murid hebat – Excellent student.

  • Nate R (56EN) - ‘Be Your Best’ for continuing practising spoken Indonesian language outside the classroom.  Keep on being an AMAZING student.
