Parent/Carer Workshops - The Optimal Relationship Approach (ORA)
Thursdays 1st, 8th and 15th of August / 6:30pm-8:30pm (3 x 2 hour workshops)

The Optimal Relationship Approach (ORA) is an evidence-based program that provides parents/carers with confidence and skills to support their children to build resilient and navigate big emotions. ORA also helps to strengthen family relationships and to support overall family wellbeing.

Chris has held this role for the last 12 months.
Chris also is the Municipal Emergency Response Coordinator for
Greater Dandenong, he is responsible for coordinating the emergency
response to major incidents working with external agencies such as
FRY, CFA, Ambulance, SES, Council etc
Chris’s 24 years carer in Vic Pol having been a front line Policeman
working in police stations across most of Metro Melbourne

What does Neighbour Watch actually do? NHW Groups are a way for law enforcement and citizens to work together not only for disaster preparedness but for all hazards and encourage citizens to volunteer in their communities.
Our group gets 10,000 newsletters printed thanks MP‘S Gabrielle Williams, Eden Foster, Ann-Marie Hemans, Julian Hill, each print 2,000 four times a year.
Anyone that carry some in their bags and put where they go eg Doctors, Dentist, Take away, Laundromat, Churches, Hotels, Notice Boards, Libraries
We will have loads of FREE BROCHURES at our events eg forums, safe screw our newest one on CARAVAN SECURITY – when home or away

Our 4 public forums are excellent to attend as you get to hear always from our local police and have a chance to speak to them directly. Why not join our great team and become a helper, there are so many ways some not taking a lot of time at all, we would love to hear from you.
Re our 10,000 4 times a year NEWSLETTERS to go out to the public.
We find that to put in letterboxes they may get throw out as JUNK MAIL so we try to get them in though out our huge city e g Shops, Businesses, Take Away, Churches, Council Offices, Markets Service Stations etc. Just anywhere there is a counter or noticeboard, We still have many areas not being covered grrrr
So this is where you might like to HELP US , when you are shopping, you could ask to put a couple on the counter, they are very accepting that way , we can then cover the whole city that would be just marvellous .
