Mrs Audrey Fellowes - Deputy Principal/Head of Primary
This week we were delighted to welcome students from China, Korea and Japan who have joined Clayfield College as Short-Stay students for a few weeks. Thank you for making them feel welcome.
Ashburn House invites all students to wear their pyjamas to school on Friday 19 July to support the Pyjama Foundation empowering foster kids.
Payments for House Fundraising days can be made in one online payment via the College Website.
If students have HPE on Friday, please bring sports uniform to change into. Many of our boys will be involved in Britton Shield Football this Friday and so will be unable to participate. For this reason, we will be providing a second opportunity for our Primary School boys to wear their pyjamas on Friday 26 July (Week 3).
If you would like your child to attend OSHC after Homework Club, please ensure you book them in to Children’s First OSHC. If you are running late for pick up, we are unable to take students to OSHC without a booking. We would therefore appreciate it if you could collect your son or daughter by 5:00pm to allow our staff to leave promptly. Thank you for your understanding and working in partnership with the College.
Next Thursday and Friday, Pre-Prep will be experiencing their Assessment and Rating Visit from the Early Childhood Regulatory Authority. We are looking forward to showcasing our wonderful program and exceptional Pre-Prep community. In the coming weeks, we will be given a rating for our service, which we will then share with our families.
As per information previously communicated (see attached), a reminder to parents of the opportunity for devices to be left at the College in lockable trolleys and the required Device Overnight Waiver which must be acknowledged in Parent Lounge prior to commencement of this arrangement.
Please see attached Term 3 Clubs which commenced this week.

On Friday 4 October, Meghan Guthrie-Quinn and Tia Tyler (Year 11 students) will be running the Clayfield Big Chop! The Kids Cancer Project’s Lose Your Locks Campaign encourages people to sponsor others to cut their hair.
By taking part in the Big Chop, or sponsoring others, you'll help researchers develop kids' cancer treatments, give kids their childhood’s back or allow their confidence to be restored with a life changing wig.
The minimum donation of hair is 20cm. If your child is interested in having their hair cut by our on-site hairdresser, please fill out the survey form attached.
If you would rather keep your locks, we would love for you, your family and friends to donate to our campaign page. All funds go towards the Kids' Cancer Project. Thank you for your support!
