Principals` Message

 Dear Fitzroy Primary School Community,

It is with great enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the new Acting Principal of Fitzroy Primary School.  I am honoured to have the opportunity to lead such a dedicated and vibrant school community.

Allow me to share a little about my background and experiences. I have been an educator for 20 years, with a passion for health and wellbeing. My previous leadership roles have included time as Principal of Selby Primary School and Kinder, Assistant Principal at Bright P-12 College and Assistant Principal at Elwood College. 

During my initial days at Fitzroy, I've been struck by the commitment of both the staff and students. The warm welcome I received, particularly from the students, has been especially pleasing. I am excited to work collaboratively with staff, students, parents, and the wider community to ensure every child receives the best possible education and support.

As we move forward together, I am eager to meet each of you and learn from your experiences and insights. Open communication and collaboration are essential to me, and I encourage you to reach out with any questions, concerns, or ideas you may have. Together, we will continue to foster a positive and nurturing environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
