A Message from

Hannah & Keir

“We would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people, the first people to dream, create, wonder, dance, play and learn on this breathtaking land. This land was cared for and respected for tens of thousands of years. The First Nations people lived in companionship with the animals and the life on this land. We acknowledge that this is stolen land and we pay our respects to elders, past, present and emerging.”

Whole School Sports Day

What a glorious day we all had at the Whole School Sports day on Thursday! The weather was fantastic, and all of our students had an absolutely wonderful time having a go at sports and participating in the day’s events in a multitude of ways. These days take a huge team of people to plan and run, and we would like to give three loud cheers and a round of applause to Max (it was his first WSSD … how amazing is that?!) and to his team of parent, carer and community helpers. We genuinely could not have had such a successful day without all of your volunteered time, organisation and support.  If you know someone who competed, cheered, volunteered or worked at the whole school sports day (or in the lead up!) please take a moment to thank them for their efforts.

100 Days of Foundation

Today marks one hundred days of school at BNWPS for our youngest students - our Foundies! As we might all remember, starting school involves the application of such a wide variety of skills; social, academic, emotional .. the list goes on! We would like to congratulate our class of ‘24 Foundies, their families, teachers and support people for the enthusiasm and energy that they have put into each and every one of the hundred days. Another round of applause we think!

Parent & Caregiver Opinion Survey

The Parent & Caregiver Opinion Survey is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behaviour, and student engagement. The survey is optional, but we encourage and appreciate your participation.

Our school will use the survey results to assist in identifying areas for improvement and professional development needs in the school, to target school planning and improvement strategies.

The Parent & Caregiver Opinion Survey will be open online from Monday 29 July to Friday 30 August 2024. All families are invited to participate in this survey.

The online survey is completely anonymous and takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. It can be accessed at any time within the survey period on desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones.

Instructions on how to access the survey were sent to current families through Sentral earlier today.
