Principals Message
Dear School Community,
I can't believe Term 3 is upon us! Time has flown by so quickly, and it has been a busy and fulfilling time for all of us. We are thrilled to welcome several new students who joined us at the start of Term 3. Their presence enriches our school community, and we look forward to seeing them thrive academically and socially. The remainder of the student cohort have returned from term break refreshed and ready to fulfil their 2024 academic requirements.
Our teachers continue to be innovative in creating learning experiences that connect with the real world. These activities help students get more involved and participate actively in their learning. This term, we have had the pleasure of hosting four valuable incursions that have significantly enhanced our students’ learning experiences. Make sure to check out our newsletter and past editions to see the various learning experiences your student has been involved in.
Our recent parent-student-teacher conferences were a great success, with 42 meetings taking place. These sessions are vital for fostering strong communication between home and school, ensuring that we work together to support each student's growth and development. We have also completed all Student Support Group (SSG) meetings for Semester 2, which are crucial for tailoring our support to meet the individual needs of our students, ensuring they receive the best possible educational experience.
The well-being team continues to do a fantastic job in supporting students with their wellbeing issues, but more so, helping students develop important social and emotional skills for lifelong wellbeing.
The Parent Access Module (PAM), a new tool to help us communicate better with you is now up and running with all excursions now appearing on PAM for parent/guardian consent. With PAM, you can get personalised information about your child's learning journey, timetables, reports, attendance, and events. If you were unable to seek IT support at our recent parent student teacher conferences, please pop into the college and admin staff will happily assist you.
Thank you to our dedicated staff, supportive parents, and wonderful students for making the start of Term 3 so positive. We look forward to continuing our journey of excellence together.
