AROUND THE COLLEGE

TERM 3

Mount Buller Snow Camp:

On Tuesday 30th July 24 students from Year 10 and 11 headed to Mt Buller for the 2024 WHC snow trip. Over the 4 days we were blessed with weather, with our days on the mountain blessing us with blue skies and little-no wind. Aside from some bumps and bruises, we luckily escaped with no serious injures and managed to get through the two days of downhill snowboarding/skiing.

It was so great to see the students challenging themselves and steeping outside their comfort zones, especially in environments unfamiliar to them. Credit also to the behaviour of each student in attendance from both the staff who attended and the accommodation, who sent an email post the trip commending them for their time at their facility.

A big thank-you to Mr Joustra who came along and assisted with the camp as well, your time and effort was appreciated.

We all can’t wait for the 2025 trip, which I’m sure will be another exciting experience.
