Kindergarten Bilbies and Rosellas
“There is no such thing as bad weather!”
At our Kindergarten, we whole heartedly embrace this philosophy, turning rainy days into fun and exciting adventures.
With their brightly coloured raincoats and sturdy rain boots, our Kindy kids are prepared to make the most of every drop of rain. Watching them splash through puddles and feel rain drops on their faces is a joy. But these moments are learning experiences as well. They assist with the teaching of the water cycle and the importance of rain for plants and us.
By encouraging outdoor play, regardless of the weather, also builds resilience and adaptability, and children understand that the weather plays such an essential part of our environment.
Year 4 Geckoes and Koalas
Here in Year 4, we have had such a fabulous start to Term 3!
Last term, our students worked super hard to design and map out their dream theme park, including all the games and rides they could possibly want!
This term, our students’ plans will finally be brought to life! Using our knowledge about sustainable materials, the Year 4s have begun building their theme parks. The students will have to think outside the box, analysing the properties of different materials to find what will best suit the needs of their theme parks.
We cannot wait to see the finished products from the Geckoes and Koalas.
