Eucharist Retreat

On Thursday 25 July St Helena's Catholic Primary School hosted the Eucharist Retreat for our Year 4 students  and the children within our parish who have and will be receiving the Sacrament of Eucharist this past weekend and this coming weekend.

24:7 School Ministry led students in various activities to reflect on their faith and to prepare them to receive Eucharist for the first time.

Our Year 4 students made a visit to the parish, St Helena's of the Holy Cross, on Thursday 1 August. Fr Bona took them on a tour of the church and grounds, explaining the significance of different items used in Mass. 

The students practiced their understanding of church actions and responses before joining with our other parish schools for a Reconciliation Liturgy.
