Year 3/4 Learning Reflection

Grade 3/4 students have explored the /oe/ and /er/ sounds during Extended Code. We have been looking at the different spelling combinations for each sound.

/er/ sound spelling combinations - er, or, ear, ir and ur 

We've started small groups in our Reading sessions to build students' background knowledge on various topics. Students have been practising locating 'right there' information and evidence within the text.

In Maths, students have been exploring area. Using their knowledge of times tables, they created gardens and calculated the area of their names. If you find yourself in the hallway of Building B, come check out our amazing work!

In our Social and Emotional Learning sessions this term, Grade 3/4 students are participating in the Cyber Safety Project. This week, they explored which information is safe to share and which should be kept private. Working in small groups, students sorted various statements from "I can share this" to "I shouldn't share this."
