Sam's Strider's
Connors Run 2024
We'd love to have as many family and friends join us for the run/walk and fundraising to help change the odds for kids with brain cancer!
The event will take place Sunday 15th September and we will be participating under the team name 'Sam's Striders'. We will be participating in the 930 event, walking 9.6km with Sam :)
We ourselves are 'the lucky ones' with our little fighter Sam very much defying the odds against brain cancer. However, this could have been a different story if it wasn't for the scientists and research that led to a miracle 2 year trial drug following 3 years of less successful chemo treatments. We truly owe Sam's life to the development of this drug.
We hope to have your support as we continue to 'pay it forward' raising as much money and awareness for childhood brain cancer as we possibly can through fundraising events like Connors Run.
The Robert Connor Dawes Foundation funds critical research to find a cure for paediatric brain cancer as well as providing families with music therapy and other support throughout their journey with brain cancer. It is the largest charity in Australia specifically helping kids with brain cancer.Your support will help change the odds for kids with brain cancer – which currently kills more children in Australia than any other disease.
