The Stork has made a delivery!

Congratulations to Callum Warren-Smith from Year 3, and his lovely wife Ashleigh, on the safe arrival of their beautiful baby boy, Ezra James.

Born on July 7th, Ezra was eager to meet the world, weighing in at 3.8 kg. I was fortunate enough to have a cuddle with him, and I must say, he is adorable.

Sam's Striders!

We'd love to have as many families and friends as possible to join Sam and his family in the run/walk and fundraiser to help change the odds for kids with brain cancer!

The event will take place on Sunday 15th September and Sam’s family will be participating under the team’s name 'Sam's Striders'. Please look at the page in our newsletter titled

Sam’s Striders and follow the link for further details.

Sam is our hero as he continues to defy the odds of brain cancer with the help of scientists and researchers and the development of new treatment drugs.

Go Sam’s Striders!

Hot off the Press

We have some exciting news to share about the Athletics Carnival held yesterday at Proclamation Park in Ringwood. Moneghetti- Green House emerged victorious in the overall competition.

Thank you to our wonderful PE teacher, Andy McCartney, and all the staff and parents who made the Athletics Carnival such a fun and well-organised experience. So many smiling faces and terrific performances.

The day was particularly notable for the huge number of students who looked after their friends, cheered for their classmates and showed incredible sportsmanship throughout the day.

Well done to all!

The Boys Soccer team competing in the Divisional Championships today came second.

A special thank you to Mr. McCartney for his energy and enthusiasm in organizing all these events. Please stay tuned for a gallery of photos and more detailed news in our next newsletter.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Over the last few weeks, parents and carers have had the opportunity to celebrate their child's learning and social development over the past six months.

Parent-Teacher Conferences allow us to share insights about students' interests, provide specific feedback on their achievements and progress, and discuss their reports in greater detail.

These conferences offer a chance to understand how best to support each student's learning and set goals for their future improvement and success. If you have any questions regarding your child's achievement and learning, please feel free to schedule a meeting with your child's teacher outside of the conference schedule.

We want our Parents/Guardians and Caregivers to give us some Feedback.

Our school is conducting the annual Parent/Caregiver/Guardian Opinion Survey offered by the Department of Education, and we are seeking your valuable feedback.

This survey is designed to help us understand families' perceptions of our school climate, student behaviour, and student engagement. While participation is optional, your input is highly encouraged and greatly appreciated.

The survey results will help us identify areas for improvement and professional development needs, guiding our school planning and improvement strategies.

The Parent/Caregiver/Guardian Opinion Survey will be open online from Monday, July 29 to Friday, August 30, 2024. Families will be randomly selected to participate via Compass.

The survey is conducted online, takes only 20 minutes to complete, and can be accessed at any convenient time on desktop computers, laptops, tablets, or smartphones.

The online survey will be available in English and 10 other languages: Arabic, Greek, Hakha Chin, Hindi, Japanese, Punjabi, Simplified Chinese, Somali, Turkish, and Vietnamese. Additional resources are available to assist parents/caregivers/guardians who speak a language other than English at home. Please reach out to your child’s teacher or the school directly for survey guides in your language.

Wishing you a lovely weekend with your family and friends
