“We would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people, the first people to dream, create, wonder, dance, play and learn on this breathtaking land. This land was cared for and respected for tens of thousands of years. The First Nations people lived in companionship with the animals and the life on this land. We acknowledge that this is stolen land and we pay our respects to elders, past, present and emerging.”

The Parent & Caregiver Opinion Survey is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behaviour, and student engagement. The survey is optional, but we encourage and appreciate your participation.
Our school will use the survey results to assist in identifying areas for improvement and professional development needs in the school, to target school planning and improvement strategies.
The Parent & Caregiver Opinion Survey will be open online from Monday 29 July to Friday 30 August 2024. All families are invited to participate in this survey.
The online survey is completely anonymous and takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. It can be accessed at any time within the survey period on desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones.
Instructions on how to access the survey were sent to current families through Sentral earlier today.
This Thursday is our annual Whole School Sports Day at Harold Stevens Athletics Track in Coburg. The event will take most of the day, so we encourage you to dress your child accordingly. Our F-2 students will participate in some slightly adapted (and super cute) events, while the 3-6 students will engage in more traditional track and field events. The day is filled with competition, cheer, fun and excitement - if you are able to come along to help out or to cheer us on, we would love to see you there!
Enrolments for 2025 are now due. If you are intending to enroll your child to our school next year, please make sure you have submitted your form to the office. It may seem early in the year, but this timeline is required to help us with workforce planning.
“Motivation is a slippery customer. Just when you want to rely on it, it puts its feet up, takes a few days off & generally wants to be about as active as a sloth on long service leave. Your ‘get up & go’ has ‘got up & gone’.”
This quote comes from the article linked below - “How parents can increase motivation and confidence in children - Part 1” by Andrew Fuller. Andrew is a clinical psychologist who works with children, families, schools and communities to promote the mental health and wellbeing of young people.
