SUSTAINABILITY NEWS

Come and see our amazing vegetable gardens near the Burnley Street fence. They are growing abundantly! We have planted so many delicious vegies. Gardening Club has turned the garden beds near the library into beautiful flower beds.

Today Year 1/2 DG have been learning about planting seeds and watching them grow. Here is a little rhyme we have been learning.

Our Compost Ninjas program continues to be a great success, with students collecting food scraps every day, and today we cut them up small and fed them to our worms. We will be looking at how much we have been able to lessen our waste, through this project

CAN YOU HELP US?

Gardening Club would love some parent helpers. If you are free Thursdays 11.20 - 12.05 or another time during the week please email Ms Belinda at bnechwatal@tcs.catholic.edu.au

SUPER 20% DISCOUNTS - ORDER YOUR FRUIT AND VEGETABLE BOXES

Farmers’ Pick have offered us a huge 20% off for all new orders! Trinity is participating in the ‘Feed Our School’ fundraising initiative by Farmers Pick, an organisation that prevents ‘perfectly imperfect’ fruit and vegetables from ending up in landfill, by selling boxes of this produce that supermarkets can't. Trinity families can order fruit and veg boxes online, and have it conveniently delivered to Trinity every Tuesday.  Better yet, their produce is priced up to 30% less than at the supermarket, and Trinity receives $5 for every box ordered! See flyers attached for more information.
