                     🌟Wellbeing News!🌈

Hello to our Epsom students, parents, and caregivers,

As R U OK? Day draws near, we want to encourage everyone to embrace the spirit of this important day—not just on the day itself, but every day. Asking "R U OK?" is a simple yet powerful act that can make a world of difference in someone’s life. Mental health challenges can affect anyone, at any time, and by reaching out, you’re showing you care and are there to support those around you.

Let’s make it a habit to check in with our mates, family members, and colleagues regularly. Your genuine concern and willingness to listen can brighten someone’s day and even change a life. So, as we approach R U OK? Day, let’s all commit to asking that vital question, "R U OK?", and continue to foster a community where everyone feels valued and supported.

                        Year 6 to 7 Transition

As we approach the end of the school year, it’s almost time to say farewell to our wonderful Year 6 students as they prepare to embark on the next exciting chapter of their educational journey. This transition, while full of promise, can also evoke a range of emotions for both students and their families. To provide support during this pivotal time, the wellbeing team is pleased to share that Headspace is offering an online information seminar.

Session Details:

  • Session 1: Tuesday, 3rd September, 6:00 - 7:00 PM AEST
  • Session 2: Thursday, 5th September, 8:00 - 9:00 PM AEST

This seminar is designed to address any concerns you may have and to provide valuable strategies for navigating the transition smoothly. We strongly encourage all families and students to participate, whether you have specific worries or simply wish to be better prepared for the changes ahead.

Please find the informative poster from Headspace below. Additionally, printouts are available at the front office for those who would like a physical reminder. Also included below are the FAQs, which cover everything you need to know about participating in the online sessions.
