Year 7 Japanese Food Tasting Incursion

0n Thursday November 11th, students in Year 7 Japanese participated in a Japanese food tasting session.

Students learnt appropriate Japanese table manners, including how to use chopsticks. They used these skills when tasting sushi and trying to pick up small chocolate buttons from a bowl.

After designing and colouring table manners posters, students played a game of Janken (Japanese Rock Paper Scissors) to select a mystery treat from a surprise box. Students tried a variety of crackers, lollies, cookies and sweets.
