Community Group

I still can’t quite believe it’s the end of school for the year! There have been some wonderful events and fundraisers throughout this year that simply couldn’t have happened without the help and support from all of our families and incredible parents who gave their time.

There are some wonderfully dedicated parents and teachers who are key to community group. A HUGE THANK YOU to you all. I won’t individually name you, but you know who you are. Thank you for keeping the ‘wheels turning,' supporting me personally and always being willing to volunteer your time, help and guidance. Community Group is all about bringing families together to strengthen our school's community feel, and adding the ‘extra’ things that bring joy to our children.

🍕Community Group Meeting: 🇮🇹

In place of Decembers meeting, we were able to meet at La Porchettas for a meal together. It was a welcome night off a meeting, with a long overdue catch up for those who were able to attend. First meeting back: TBC- see PAM and Facebook pages for updates.

🍔🌭Family Dinner: 🥗🍝

Held on November 15th at the All Abilities play ground. It was a glorious evening, with over 15 families brining their own dinners and enjoying the park. Such a simple, yet relaxing evening. We hope to do more of these easy social events during next year.

☕️First Social coffee/brunch: 🍳

💵💰🍫Cadbury Chocolates 🍫💰💵

Chocolates are CLOSED, if your family hasn’t returned the money for your box please do so ASAP.

Complete boxes are worth $60. ‘Many hands make light work’. Following up each individual family for the fundraising money takes time. It would be great if all money could be finalised ASAP.

👚👕Pre Loved Uniforms:👔🧢

Most parents love the pre loved uniform shop for the reasonable prices and because we all know how fast kids grow! This little shop is opened by amazing volunteers.

If you would like to help with the uniform shop, please contact Michelle: 0422 074 774. No experience necessary, and you can open the shop when it suits your timetable

🔨🌭Bunnings BBQ 🔨 🧅

Our last Bunnings BBQ was held on Saturday November 30th. THANK YOU especially to the Schroeders family for organising the BBQ, to those who were able to volunteer their time to cook and serve on the day. We raised around $1,200.00. A BIG Thank You to Bunnings Shepparton for the ongoing support.

🍿🪩🎉 End of year Disco 🎊🎤🎶

The Disco was held today. We hope all students enjoyed this fun end of year celebration. A HUGE thank you to Michelle for organising the disco, snacks and drinks. Thank you to the parents who were able to join in the disco to help out.

It seems like a long way off… but big events like fetes take many many months to plan!

☕️🩵Foundation 2025 care packs: 💐

Thank you to those parents who have offered to help make the care packs for 2025 foundation parents. This is always a lovely little token to welcome foundation families to St Luke’s.

🧁🍉 Staff Morning Tea: 🍓🍰

As a token of our appreciation to all of our incredible teachers, dedicated LSOs, and hard working support and office staff; a special little morning tea has been organised for their last day of work. On behalf of all families, students and community group THANK YOU for all you do. We hope you are all able to enjoy some morning tea and feel appreciated. THANK YOU Tammy for organising this morning tea with our family bakery, Higgins.
