2025 Prep Orientation

Over the past week we have welcomed the incoming Prep 2025 students and their families for an engaging orientation day. Each prep student had the opportunity to meet their teacher and classmates and participate in a classroom activity, giving them a glimpse of what school life will be like. The Prep teachers for 2025 are; Miranda Barron, Luigina Eatwell and Rosa Yanko.

While the students enjoyed their classroom experience, we hosted an informative session for parents, featuring representatives from various school support groups and services. Parents were introduced to the roles of the Uniform Shop, Camp Australia, Parents and Friends, the School Advisory Committee, and our student leaders. Teresa from Accounts, Fr. Andrew, and a brief overview of the nForma Portal were also provided.

Looking ahead, the next two orientation sessions will focus on learning and teaching, with topics covering literacy, mathematics, religious education, wellbeing, and school readiness. Our Foundation/Prep teachers will also discuss the first days of school, Wednesday testing, morning and end-of-day routines, and more from the School Handbook to help prepare families for a smooth transition.
