Music Gala

Last Thursday evening, the Good Shepherd community gathered in our Performing Arts Building for our annual Music Gala. The event, starting promptly at 6:00pm, showcased the extraordinary talents of our Junior Band, Junior Choir, Jazz Band, Senior Choir, and Senior Band. Each performance was a testament to the dedication, hard work, and love of music that defines our school community.

Amid the applause and celebration of our students' musical accomplishments, an important announcement was made: after many wonderful years with Good Shepherd, Karen DeWilde has decided to retire. Karen has been an integral part of our school, inspiring countless students with her passion for music and unwavering dedication to their growth, both as musicians and individuals.

Karen's warmth, creativity, and commitment has left an indelible mark on our school. She has not only nurtured musical talent but also fostered a deep appreciation for the arts in our community. Her legacy will continue to resonate in the hearts of those you’ve inspired.

As a community, we are planning a special celebration to honour Karen and all she has contributed to Good Shepherd. We warmly invite everyone to join us in showing our gratitude and best wishes to her as she embarks on this new chapter.
