Student Wellbeing

In 3A during Religion and Wellbeing we have been learning about forgiveness. This means different things to us like if someone accidentally hurts you and you forgive them or sometimes they can hurt you on purpose. It involves being aware to make the right decision to let go of feelings of rage and hatred and forgive family and friends who have hurt you. Forgiveness also means others have forgiven us in a time that we have done something wrong towards them. We reflected on times where we have asked for forgiveness from others and times when we have had to forgive our friends.

As a class we came up with a prayer:

Dear God,

We ask for the strength to forgive, just as Jesus forgave those who hurt Him.

God help me to remember the importance of forgiveness everyday.

Amen

Day for Daniel Update

During Day for Daniel on Friday 25th of October, Good Shepherd raised $337.80 for The Daniel Morcombe Foundation! The Daniel Morcombe Foundation plays a crucial role in child safety education and awareness, and we are proud to have contributed to their mission. Your support, whether through donations, participation in events, or even discussing safety with your child, has made a meaningful difference.

We look forward to continuing our partnership with the Daniel Morcombe Foundation in the future.
