Year 2 Church Visit

On Wednesday the 6th November, the Grade 2s attended morning mass in our Good Shepherd Church with the parishioners. The students met our new assistant Priest, Father Jean Sebastian (Fr John),  who welcomed and involved the students in the liturgy. 

Father spoke to the students after mass addressing all of their burning questions such as:

Did you have to complete a sacrament to become a priest?

What’s the difference between a bishop and a priest?

Why can’t priests get married?

Was it hard to do the training to become a priest?

Father John was recently ordained, so we are very lucky to have him at our school and we appreciate the time he spent with the students.
