Principal Report

Traffic Control

It has been reported that unsafe U-turns are being made on Baxter Tooradin Road, particularly into the bus turn-off. We kindly ask that all parents and guardians ensure this does not happen and that the roundabout is used, instead. As we approach the Christmas period, it is extremely important that we all exercise patience on the roads during drop-off and pick-up times.

School Policies

The following school policies have been updated and are now available on our school's website:

  • Anaphylaxis Policy
  • Attendance Policy
  • Duty of Care Policy
  • First Aid Policy
  • Health Care Needs Policy
  • Medication Policy
  • Yard Duty & Supervision Policy
  • Visitors Policy
  • Volunteers Policy
  • Asthma Policy
  • Complaints Policy

School Council

Last night, we held our final School Council meeting for 2024. I would like to acknowledge all of our councillors for the time and effort they have dedicated to improving our school.

I would particularly like to highlight the professional and thorough approach that School Council took in appointing our new Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) provider, Team Kids, as well as the success of the trivia night.

Working Bee

A reminder that our next school Working Bee will be held this Friday 29th November, from 2:30pm to 5pm.

Below is a list of tasks that will need to be completed on the day:

  • General rubbish collection and clean-up
  • Weeding
  • Pruning
  • Moving mulch

If families are able to provide any of the following tools, it would be greatly appreciated:

  • Wheelbarrows
  • Shovels
  • Secateurs
  • Hedge trimmers
  • Rakes

We look forward to seeing you there!

We acknowledge the Bunurong people, the Traditional

Owners of the land on which Baxter Primary School resides, and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
