Prep V Story Time

Welcome to the wonderful Prep world of storytelling! This term, our Prep students have been hard at work crafting incredible narratives. From enchanted castles to daring superhero rescues, their imaginations have been running wild, and I couldn't be prouder!

We’ve focused on the structure of a good story, teaching our young authors the importance of a beginning that hooks the reader, a middle full of exciting twists, and an ending that wraps everything up in a satisfying bow.

The characters they have created are nothing short of spectacular. We have seen princesses teaming up with monsters, superheroes diving into the deep sea, and ocean friends making surprise appearances in underwater caves. The creativity in this classroom could give the best Hollywood writers a run for their money!

As we continue exploring the magical realm of narratives, our focus will remain on developing strong storylines, crafting interesting characters, and creating vivid settings. Who knows? We may even discover the next great children's author right here at LPS!

And just when you thought it couldn’t get any more imaginative, we’re gearing up for our Christmas stories! Think reindeer with jetpacks, Santa stuck in a snow globe, and elves pulling pranks on everyone at the North Pole.
