Who ever knew that you phone could do so much…!!!! There are so many settings available on iPhones/ iPads (and androids) that can make it easier for everyone to use. Below is a list of supports and functions that are available for you to activate with a few little clicks (please let me know if you need any assistance with this).

I have outlined the steps of:

  • how to activate a timer on your apps- I have started using this with my own children, and would definitely use it as a classroom teacher; its an absolute game changer
  • getting your phone to read text (this means that you can take a photo of any written text and your phone can read it to you (a BIG thankyou to Jenny, one of our lovey parents for helping me to film this
  • Then the Empowering Family

A great tool to help with managing your young one’s time on devices at home is to have it set to a time limit. You can do this by:

  • Assistive Technology

Getting your phone to read any type of text to you opens so many doors for our young ones and ourselves. These two clips take you through how to activate the settings and how to get your phone to do this.
