CONVERSATIONS THAT MATTER: AN EVENING FOR MEN

Glen Eira City Council Event, Tuesday 19 November

As a part of 16 Days of Activism, we invite men and male-identifying people aged 18 and over to join us for an engaging and impactful workshop exploring how men can better look after themselves, their partners, their friends and their community.

The free event will be hosted by Tomorrow Man, featuring special guest Darcy Moore, Collingwood Football Club captain.

We all want to be respected and have healthy relationships.

Healthy relationships are about respecting each other as equals and breaking free from outdated gender stereotypes and assumptions.

Too often, these outdated stereotypes and assumptions – such as men are strong and women are weak - inform our relationships and can have a negative impact on the health and wellbeing of men.

We can create healthy and respectful relationships by learning how to challenge harmful gender assumptions in a safe and supportive way.

Join special guest Collingwood Football Club captain Darcy Moore in this safe and welcoming space, where we will engage in meaningful conversation to explore how men can better look after themselves, their partners, their friends and their community.

This event will give participants tools and skills to improve their mental health and build stronger connections between one another and those they care about.

Date: Tuesday 19 November

Time: 5.30pm - 8.00pm

Where: Caulfield Park Pavilion, 280 Balaclava Rd, Caulfield North, 3161

Pies and light refreshments from 5.30pm.

This free event is designed for men and male-identifying people aged 18 years and over.

Places are limited and bookings are essential.

Register here.

Facilitated by Tomorrow Man and supported by Respect Victoria, Safe and Equal, Glen Eira City Council, City of Port Phillip and City of Stonnington.
