STEM learning for F/1s – Biological Science – Living Things

Stem learning linked beautifully to Kitchen Garden this week with F/1s learning about seeds and the structure and function of plants. Children learnt how seeds germinate and grow and closely observed parts of plants with digital microscopes. Students created clear annotated drawings of bean seeds growing into seedlings. Vicki and Robbie were very proud of everyone trying their best. Here are a couple of examples:
