The Scoresby Secondary College Resource Centre (previously Library) fulfills an important function within the school, providing a welcoming and friendly space which all students can access.

Located centrally within the school, the Resource Centre is a communal area providing:

• A space for working:

• With classes
• At lunchtimes
• As a Year 11 private study student
• At Homework Club
• A space for relaxing at lunchtimes:
• Quiet reading or socializing
• Playing chess
• Playing cards on Fridays
• A space for accessing school resources:
• Books, magazines
• Digital resources (Clickview)
• Ipads, laptops
• Printing

Students are encouraged to have a sense of ownership towards their Resource Centre. This engenders a positive environment where all students are valued and supported in both their social and academic learning.
