Principal Report

A message from the Principal

Ms Nerina Pretlove

As we approach the end of Term 3, the preparations are underway to celebrate the end of schooling for our Year 12 students.  The markers have been in school to assess their major works, trial exams have been held and revision is in full flight. Of course, the social side of things are also rushing towards us with our excursion, the formal and the Graduation Ceremony coming up soon.  We are looking forward to sharing some of these events with our families.

Over the past few weeks, we have had to increase the number of classes in Year 7 and 8 in response to the growing numbers of students enrolling in our school. This is exciting and has provided us with the opportunity to reduce some of the class sizes as we have spread students across a larger number of classes. To this end, we welcome Ms Newsome and Mr Nasiri to our staff to support these new classes.

You may have heard about the Department of Education’s new Enrolment Policy in the media or in the local community.  We have included a fact sheet for you to read which may answer some of your questions. The policy applies to students enrolling in schools from now and Year 6 into 7 2021.

Each year we collect data from our students, community and staff through the Tell Them From Me surveys to evaluate our programs and forward plan for the coming year.  Students have completed their contributions at school and we ask our parent and carers to use one of the links below to provide us with feedback. The closing date is 25 October 2019.

Or, you could visit the 'events' page on our school website and complete the Tell Them From Me survey using the link.

Now that the weather is beginning to warm up, it is time to think about summer uniforms. Our uniform shop is open on Tuesday and Thursday mornings for purchasing, making orders and picking up online orders. You may also purchase online:
