Whole School

Reminder: Family Photo Evening

We will be hosting the Family Photo Evening in Hodgkin Hall on Thursday 27 June from 4pm until 6pm.

The Family Photo Evening is a chance for your whole family to get a formal photo together or for siblings to get a group photo that you might otherwise not get the chance to organise.

If you would like to attend the Family Photo session please pick up an envelope from either Main Reception at the High School Campus or from the Morris Office. You do not need to make a booking for this session.

If you have any queries, please contact our Communications Coordinator, Zoe Geard

Cash Payments Update

From 24 June 2019, the School will not accept cash payments greater than $500 at our Main Reception.  This limit will apply to all payments to the School.  We remind our community that the payment options currently offered include EFTPOS, Bpay, monthly direct debit, funds transfer or cheque.  If you have any queries, please don't hesitate to contact the Director of Community Engagement, Bill Avery

Amnesty Battle of the Talent - TOMORROW NIGHT

Amnesty Battle of the Talent, 2019 is this Friday 21 June in The Farrall Centre from 6.00pm - 9.20pm. This is an annual event showcasing student talent...whether listening to bands and singers or supporting stand up comedy, this evening is always full of fun, entertainment and excitement. Entry is $5 with all money raised going to support Amnesty International initiatives in the School. There will also be soft drinks on sale for $1 on the night.

There will be 'no pass outs' for students under the age of 18. Students may only leave the event early if a parent collects them from the door where a staff member will be present. Also to note, this evening is a Friends' only event so only current students from The Friends' School may attend.

Reminder: The Friends' School Charity Quiz Night

The Friends’ School Charity Quiz Night is on again soon, and tickets are selling fast.  Don’t miss out on your opportunity to participate in this wonderful event. It’s a great showcase of talent of Friends’ School students, as they manage entertainment, food, quiz questions and games.  All proceeds go to The Phoenix Centre, providing resources to assist refugees that have settled in Tasmania. Get a team of 10 together or just come along as a smaller group and get put with others.
