House Cross Country

The time has come for the Mt View House Cross Country Training Challenge to begin! For the next few weeks of term until the day of our House Cross Country (Week 8 this Term) we are asking classroom teachers to get their grades out onto the oval DAILY for at least a lap.

This year we will have a competition running for each grade to compete to win our championship class trophy each week which will be announced on a Friday afternoon.

Help us to help others……. Soles 4 Souls

Whilst the 4 weeks of Cross Country training are on we are going to be collecting shoes in a good condition to donate to those in need. We are looking for shoes that can be worn to run in and are not already destroyed! A bonus 20 points will be awarded for every pair of shoes donated by someone in your grade.

If children wish to donate runners, school shoes, sandals, or shoes in good condition they are to be left in the box in the GYM. To get bonus points for your donation all you need to do is put a post it note inside the shoes with you grade written on them and please put a rubber band around them so they stay in pairs!! We will add the bonus points to your grade’s tally.

We have already collect over 120 pairs of shoes!!!!!
