Our Fortnight In Photos
Elastics Making a Comeback!
This fortnight our students got creative and used the loom bands to make ‘elastics’. If you don’t remember the game ‘elastics’ or ‘French skipping’ from when you were at school basically players take turns jumping while singing or chanting rhymes. The person jumping will continue through stages where the elastics are moved higher and the steps become more challenging.
Educators enjoyed sharing the chants they remember from school with the students although we must admit we did need to bring the iPads out to help us remember exactly how they went!
Cold Weather
Just a reminder that unless we have high winds and rain students will still be given an option of playing outside at OSHC. Please ensure your child has appropriate clothing such as an extra jacket that they can put on during their time at OSHC.

“I have notified the school of my child’s absence via Compass, do I still need to let OSHC know?”
Answer: YES! It’s essential that you let us know of your child’s absence via email oshc@beaumarisnorthps.vic.edu.au
or by phoning the OSHC mobile 0484 916 457.
We don’t have access to Compass until the end of the day and with so many absences everyday we spend a great deal of time (at our busiest time) chasing these up.
