Out of School Hours Care 

This term we have continued learning about sustainability with a strong focus on recycling materials. The children were very excited to make Mother’s Day crafts and worked really hard on creating flower pots out of recycled containers. The children created some beautiful designs, the perfect gift for mum!

We have also been preparing for national reconciliation week with lots of discussions around what activities the children would like to do to celebrate indigenous culture. Dot paintings were the most popular request so we began a group project. The children have been working together to create a large dot painting mural and have also enjoyed designing their own individual Australian animal and boomerang masterpieces. The amazing artwork will be displayed in the OSHC window shortly so be sure to come and check it out.
